Egg-cellent time had at Annual Bunny Hop

Easter celebrations were in full swing last week when the children took part in a sponsored Bunny Hop and fun filled bonnet competition.

The event takes place every year, becoming a strong favourite with the children, parents and the Aunties – the event helps raise vital funds whilst giving the children an enjoyable day and occasion.

Along with the Bunny Hop a coffee morning was held for the parents – with the help from the team from Garden Village Co-Op, who donated tea, coffee and biscuits

During the event the children were sponsored to hop around our vast outdoor area to search high and low for those important Easter Eggs that had been hidden from them.

After the fun of the bunny hop, the children took part in the Bonnet Parade. Each child had been asked to make their very own Easter Bonnet, and took part in parade so that their hard work could be adored by everyone.

This year, our good friend Andrew Atkinson judged the competition, Andrew helps with a lot of our events, and he did a fantastic job!!

We’d like to say a big thank to Garden Village Co-op, Andrew Atkinson and of course the parents and children for all their support!!
